Facebook Ads Statistics

All Your Facebook Ads Statistics!

You probably started creating campaigns on Facebook Ads a long time ago. If so, you must have worked with Power Editor to obtain performance metrics for clients or even yourself.

Now is the moment to put the cards on the table: It’s quite complicated accessing all Facebook Ad Statistics, and Power Editor is not precisely user-friendly.

Thanks to several comments that we received from Metricoolers and combined with our own experience with Facebook Ad stats, we decided to move a step ahead to make the analysis easier for users with our Facebook ads tool.

We have created a new feature available on our website page: Facebook Ads Metricool. This new option will help you with:

✅ Consolidating Info: all your ads performance data in one place.

✅ Saving time and efforts: when you have to present results to your clients, you need only press one button.

✅ Comparing campaigns: in a unique table you can see the performance of all your ads independently and you’ll be able to group them as needed for any metrics.

Facebook Ads Metrics with Metricool

The metrics that were missing are finally here, the day has arrived! But before we get started we have an IMPORTANT NOTICE. It is crucial that if you are managing several client accounts, you use separate Facebook Ad accounts for each client.

💡 Let Facebook Ads do the work for you!

Use different and independent Facebook Ads accounts for each client. This way, each account will learn the behavior of one specific client, the ads performance and also the response of the followers.

Facebook recommends this option as optimal. Why? Because Facebook Ads learn automatically from your own clients. This way, it can improve the efficiency of your ads in the long term.

If you didn’t set it up this way we highly recommend you change it as soon as possible. All your efforts will be diminished if you mix different client’s accounts and also, all the data will be blended together. Facebook Ads won’t be able to optimize your campaigns and it will make it much more difficult to improve.

How to connect Facebook Ads with Metricool

▶️ Connect Metricool: To use this feature, connect your Facebook Ads account using the menu on the left. You’ll find this option between Facebook and Instagram. When you click on it, it will ask you to cross reference data with Metricool and in less than a minute you will have activated this new feature.

▶️ Separate Facebook Ads accounts for each client: If you have multiple profiles in one account then you will have to cross reference one by one. As we mentioned before, this is the best option to obtain better performance for your campaigns.

Which Facebook Ads Metrics We Offer

On the main menu, you can find different options for time. You can group your campaigns by day, week, month or even customize the period that you want to include in your analysis.

Facebook Ads Reach

Facebook Ads Reach with Metricool

You can find in the first graphic some data about a campaigns reach in the period of time that you previously chose. This metric is very general but you will get a good overview:

  • The yellow bars represent the amount
  • The blue line, the impressions.
  • The green line, the reach.

Impressions will generally appear above the reach line. This is because one ad can be shown several times to the same person.

Facebook Ads Results

The campaign results will be displayed next, showing a more thorough analysis available for your Facebook Ads. As in the previous graphic, the yellow bars show the money spent on the campaigns.

  • Clicks: The blue line. Data about the number of clicks that an ad has received.
  • Conversions: The green line. Data about the number of people who completed the desired designated action on your website.

Remember that in order to measure conversions properly you must implement Facebook pixel on your website.

“If you need many clicks to obtain a conversion, something is not working well on your landing page. Pay attention to details.”

Facebook Ads Performance

Now it’s time to measure the performance of your investment. How much does a click cost? How much is it to get impressions from one thousand people?…

Facebook Ads Performance with Metricool

  • CPM: Cost per 1,000 impressions. Blue Line.
  • CPC: Cost per Click. Green line.
  • CTR: Click-through rate: Link Clicks / Impressions. This percentage will help you to know how effective your campaign is. The higher the CTR, the better the result of your ads on Facebook will be. Pink line.

💡 How much is a click?

Don’t obsess with the cost per click. Depending on the value of the product sold, a high cost per click can be a good sign. Always think about what you’re selling and the benefits obtained.

Metric table with all your campaigns

Now that you have all Facebook Ads statistics visually displayed, we have just one last piece of information left. After the graphics, you can see a table with all your Facebook Ad campaigns to date with their corresponding metrics.

By clicking on the metrics titles, you can order the campaigns and see the ads organized by that chosen metric.

Social Networks Reports with Facebook Ad Metrics

We are here to make your work and life in social media a bit easier. That’s our objective.

When you are creating a social media report for your clients, you normally include metrics about engagement, user’s growth and targets. It is also recommended to include the Facebook Ads campaign performance, since you’ll need to justify the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and their benefits to your clients and/or brands.

Obtaining this info through cross referencing data with the Facebook interface is normally tedious work.  So, this is why we let you include these metrics directly on your Metricool Social Media Report by simply pressing a button, providing a Facebook Ad PDF or PPT

Include Facebook Ads when you are printing your report in PDF or Power Point. When you select Facebook Ads, first choose the preferred metric that will establish the organization of your table.

Remember that if there is a page that you don’t want to show, you can edit the report once you have exported all the data. From Power Point or PDF.

Do you like us a bit more after including this new feature? We hope you enjoy the new Facebook Ads statistics included on our social media reports.

If you have any doubts, be sure to include them in our comments section.
