What is The TikTok Creative Center?

This free resource library is developed for marketers and content creators to analyze the latest trends on the network and find inspiration for their campaigns. TikTok Creative Center is a way for anyone to view what is trending on the app at that moment.

When heading to this website, you can log into your TikTok account to access all insights.

As you can imagine, for marketers like myself, this is a great tool to analyze popular keywords, view top-performing content, and gather important data to use in reports.

This platform is divided into three sections: Inspiration, Trends, Creative Tools, and Education. Let’s break down each section in the TikTok Creative Center and what resources

Inspiration

This section will display your Top Ads Dashboard, where you can view the highest-performing auction ads. You can filter the results by industry, objective, country, language, date range, ad format, and likes, to really narrow results.

The Top Ads Spotlight section shows creative ads, handpicked by TikTok creative experts each month. View further analytics for these ads to see why they have performed so well.

Keyword Insights is similar to the structure of the leading hashtags and songs, however with the top keywords on the app. You can even view metrics such as CTR, CVR, and CPA. This data is gold, because it can help you understand what topics are ranking best on the network.

Creative Insights shows the most common patterns from top-performing videos. As of now, you can only view Games topics, but the network is working on creating an E-Commerce tab for this. Inside the Creative Insights, you can also view “Best practices” to see what is keeping users most engaged.

Lastly in this section, you can view Top Products, and filter by country, product category, and the time range. See which product categories are most popular, and how their popularity has changed over the selected time period. Again you can go further in-depth by clicking on Details.

Inside this section, you will find the most popular hashtags, songs, creators, and videos, from either the last 7 days, 30 days, or 120 days. You can also toggle on your specific industry to narrow results.

TikTok Creative Center hashtags show you the top ranking hashtags across the network, the number of posts they have been included in, the total number of views, the trend, the trending creators who have used this hashtag. You can also click into Analytics to see demographic data, related videos, and interests.

TikTok Songs looks similar, showing the top songs of the week. Click on See analytics to view more insights such as the number of views, interest over time, related videos, audience insights, related interests, and regional popularity.

Creative Tools

Creative Tools is the third section of the TikTok Creative Center. This section provides resources for video editing, script generating, interactive ad-ons, etc.

The Video Editor will take you directly to TikTok’s native editing system, where the platform will guide you through editing a video.

If you head to the Video Templates tab, you can choose from an on-demand library of templates, so you don’t have to create your video from scratch. After selecting a template, this will take you to the video editor where you can add in your own clips, transitions, music, etc.

The Interactive Add-Ons tab provides trending effects and transitions that are working well on the app. Select one to try, and the platform will guide you through using it.

If you need to build a script, you can utilize the Script Generator to save you time. Add in your industry, product name, and product description to generate a customized script.

The last resource in the Creative Tools resource is the Commercial Music Library, where you can browse through recommended playlists, top music, themes, genres, moods, and duration. All of this music is for commercial use, meaning all TikTok Business accounts can utilize these songs in videos.

Education

The Education section is the final section of the TikTok Creative Center, that provides the top tips, both basic and advanced, to educate users on how they can create successful videos.

The Creative Tips Finder includes Video To-Dos, Video Don’ts, suggested Hooks, Creative Script Structures, and more.

The Creative Strategies tab provides individual testimonials and success stories from creators all across the world that have found success in their videos. See what has worked well for them, and take these insights back to your strategy.

TikTok’s Creative Assistant

Another option available in users creative center dashboard is an AI-powered tool, called the Creative Assistant. With this, you can ask TikTok a wide variety of questions from what is trending on TikTok, to generating new content ideas, and polishing your TikTok scripts.

The Creative Assistant’s answers are based off your questions and prompts, so for optimal results, getting as specific as possible is encouraged. This will help the AI assistant narrow results that are more related to your industry and niche.

You can utilize this AI assistant throughout your TikTok Creative Center dashboard, to gather quick insights. For example, in the Top Ads Dashboard section, you can see “Summary of the top ads” section, which points out the most frequently used strategies.
