1 Upload a story
You have to record or take the photo directly from the stories section to find an Instagram filter. You can’t upload an image from your smartphone’s gallery.
2 Go to filters
Before recording or capturing the image, you have to choose the filter to activate it.
The filters are at the bottom of the screen. First, you will see the default filters, but if you move to the right, you will find at the end the explore button, represented by a magnifying glass.
3 Choose a filter
Now you see the filter gallery. There are several folders at the top: saved, following, reels, etc.
You will find several filter options in these categories, but you can also do a keyword search by tapping on the magnifying glass in the upper right.
4 Enjoy your post
Choose the filter you like the most and click ‘Test.’ Directly, the application directs you back to creating the content so that you can record your video or take a photo and publish it.
How to save a filter on Instagram

Another alternative to save it is to click on the three horizontal dots in the lower right corner and tap on Save Filter.
